Specializing in Pediatric Speech and Language
Free Initial Screenings
A free initial screening is offered for first time clients to learn more about how best to help. A screening is a good way to determine if further evaluation of speech and language skills is warranted. If you have concerns about your child's milestones, or are unsure if a speech evaluation is necessary, our free speech screening is a great place to start.
Free initial consultations are also provided upon request. Consultations take place over the phone and take about 15 minutes. Information can be obtained from a licensed and certified speech pathologist which could help make decisions about whether to pursue services for your child.
If you need more information about if a screening is needed for your child, please contact us.
Comprehensive Speech and Language Evaluations
An evaluation is typically the first step in working on a therapeutic speech plan for your child. A comprehensive exam will determine communication strengths and areas of concern, as well as a therapeutic plan for intervention. A speech pathologist will complete a comprehensive yet age appropriate assessment that will give information about your child's speech skills, so that the best recommendations can be provided.
After the evaluation, a speech pathologist will review the best options for intervention, as well as frequency and duration of treatment. A comprehensive written report is provided, which is sent to you upon completion.
Evaluations take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, and appointments are booking quickly. Please contact us today to reserve your spot, and to get started on your child's path to success.
Convenient In-Home Services
Family centered speech services are offered within the convenience and comfort of your own home. Sessions are one-on-one and individualized to meet your child's needs.
A need for in-home speech services is growing, especially for busy families with schedules to keep, larger families with multiple siblings, and families balancing school or team obligations. In-home services can be the answer for many families who might feel the burden that comes with booking yet another appointment for their family.
Afternoon and weekend appointments are offered, but fill up fast. Please contact us for availability and to reserve your spot for in-home speech therapy.
